About
Mark Bowers has always loved the visual arts. In high school he painted, crafted jewelry, and built a darkroom in his basement where he developed his own photographs. His passion and development of the photographic art increased and multiplied over the years.
School - He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. degree. He earned a Master Photographer degree from the Professional Photographers of America, and is a Certified Professional Photographer. Mark has been a member and past president of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association for more than 25 years.

Mark’s artistic talents have consistently won the studio many, many awards over the years. Mark's work has received some of the loftiest awards a photographer can achieve. Notably:
- Mark’s work has been featured in the Epcot Center at Walt Disney World.
- Mark’s has work in the permanent loan collection of the P.P.A. (Professional Photographers of America)
- Recently one of Mark's bridal portraits was featured on the cover of the P.P.A. loan collection book.
- Mark received the Master Photographer of the Year award from the I.P.P.A.
- Mark’s work was honored at the P.P.A. National Convention with one of the top ten prints in electronic imaging.
Studio
Bowers Photography opened in 1983 in American Fork, Utah. A well equipped studio opens up a world of creative and artistic options. Mark's studio has a full complement of professional lights and backdrops.
The spacious 35 foot camera room can accommodate large family groups, a bride with a 20 foot train, or a cheer squad of 35. Changing rooms are available on location for your convenience.
Sometimes, even the best studio is no match for your perfect location. Whether you want to shoot at a pristine lake in the mountains, the red-rock country in southern Utah,
or a California beach, Mark loves to accommodate your vision. Shooting on location is a thrilling opportunity and challenge. Location shoots require the right tools to manage the light nature gives you
